Bachelor :: Women Tell All

image

Drumroll please! Direct and to the point Monday night on The Bachelor’s Women Tell All episode. I guess that means I have the freedom to do the same. What is wrong with Britt not wanting to move to a small town? I’m confused. People in relationships have to make sacrifices for love, whether that’s moving to a small city, a big city, or traveling across the ocean to a new country. You do things for love and for those you love. Gee, little miss Carly ended up with the black light casted upon her.

*Stepping on to my soap box*

As a Christian, it is the most frustrating thing when we flaunt how much we love Christ, but treat others like crap. That is what hypocrisy is. I know I’m not an angel, but the second I realized Ms. Claire’s feelings were hurt, I went directly to her and tried to make it right. Whether that was accepted or not is not in my control. The best thing to do when you are “caught” in a sticky situation is to take the high road and apologize. That’s what Jesus calls us to do.

Eek, look at those angry faces. Did you believe Kelsey’s tears? And how can Chris Harrison keep a straight face when watching this? Well, I suppose he’s done this for what, 12 years by now? He must be good at keeping a straight face amidst all the *ahem* emotional banter.

Ashley S. is actually really freakin’ funny. I love how Bachelor Chris didn’t really know how to handle her. I love that she made fun of her self and brought a hosting gift…an onion. There are so many symbolic ways to interpret that…ha.

And she is correct, production does take bets. I went on a restroom break once and accidentally saw a few things I probably shouldn’t have. You think everyone on set follows the rules and does their job to a T? Nah.

And there you have it folks, out first cast member of Bachelor in Paradise, Season 2.

When they played the Jade “playboy” clip again it made me a little sad for her. I always tell girls that what you do today will probably come to you in the future, whether that’s good or bad. I hope each girl who watches this is encouraged to make choices in life that make them feel empowered and confident in themselves. I personally really like Jade and hope she finds love soon.

Kaitlyn for next Bachelorette! I missed the beginning of last week’s episode. Caught it on the tail end when he let her go. I wonder if he thinks he made the right choice there? Getting sent home can be the biggest blessing or curse, depending on how you look at it. You don’t know what to say in that moment, and there’s not much you can say since it all happens so fast.

Did you notice that heavy sigh Chris gave before it was Kaitlyn’s turn to talk? That shows that he has some feelings left for her. I know it. I like that Kaitlyn was a bit tough on him, in a good way. It’s fair. Remember she hasn’t had a chance to talk to him until now. It’s a tough place to be in on both sides. Chris does seems sweet and genuine (bless his farmer’s heart), but he also has to live up to this ideal the producers have created, and he has to say things perfectly on camera rather than what actually might be real.

I wanna know what you think! I love hearing your thoughts. Leave them below and I will try to respond back to you.

Ashlee, you need to be the next Bachelorette! Kaitlyn is fun but I’m not sure she will draw in the guys…..she’s cute but kinda quirky, and her teeth are terrible. But if they pick her it’ll still be fun to watch and I’m sure she will be great. Love seeing your posts and your fashion is the cutest ever! Love your new shorter hair! I have tickets to the “After The Final Rose” on Monday night….should be a blast! Thanks for all your fun ideas and photos, you are adorable!

You’re so sweet. It’s not for me. I had my chance and decided hurting people isn’t what I’m made to do. Thank you for the follow. Happy reading. xox

Excellent post! Well said about not beating each other up as women. I agree completely. As for Jade, I feel sorry that her past has come to haunt her but I hope she knows that she is made new and she’s a sweet, bright young lady! Also, I wouldn’t be upset if Kaitlyn is the next Bachelorette (or if you make another appearance on BIP Season 2!)

Enjoyed this women tell all. I felt Kelsey redeemed herself somewhat. I really liked Brit all season long. I agree with what she said about the editing, and how it made things look worse than they were. I think we can all agree that multiple people one the show have been victim to misleading editing. Carly, on the other hand, I felt was just a mean girl. I didn’t like how she talked about enjoying brit squirm under pressure. Ashley S. was definitely the funniest contestant of all time. It seems that she was indeed bored and once she found out she didn’t like Chris she spent her time being “silly”. Love that! Hoping they bring YOU back though! Always love watching the seasons you are in! Always classy.

I couldn’t agree more with what you wrote. I don’t know how Christian these girls are but the way Jade and Kaitlyn handled themselves by not getting in the drama made me like them even more. My head hurt so bad after that, all the yelling and talking at once. I don’t think anybody came from that and felt better. I personally like Jade. Yes she did Playboy but she is still human and wants love. I am sure they knew about her past before her coming on.

What struck me about this episode was that none of the women who were called out on bad behavior gave sincere apologies. Chris on the other hand actually did, and he did a really great job of it. He was honest and said that he tries to do his best and he’s made some mistakes. We all know the editing shapes the perception of the people on the show, but when you go on camera and say hateful things about other people and then are asked about it you should just admit that that was wrong and apologize. I think people appreciate honesty and authenticity. Arguing about why you think it’s right to bash the other women on the show is not going to help and I was disappointed that so many of the women hadn’t moved on from the bad feelings.

Love your post. BTW, I really loved you and rooted for you on Sean’s season.
And I totally understand why you were upset and refused to talk to him. I would be too.
That’s what people do when they’re blindsided and heartbroken. Hope you find love soon 🙂

I have heard on almost every single episode of the bachelor that some women get upset that the bachelor may see a different side of a certain woman than the women see when she’s in the house…but I would hope that would be the case. We are not robots-most people act differently with the differently people in their lives whether it’s a boyfriend, your girlfriends, your family or your coworkers-people have different personalities or act differently depending on the situation and the people they are around. That’s what makes the human spirit so wonderful and each relationship special and unique.

Don’t you think the picture above says everything where Britt is concerned? Sometimes it’s the non-verbal. I liked Carly but I think she has some healing to do. Maybe she was picked on, she clearly has had some damage done to her by certain girls and I think she has decided Britt is one of those girls. O
