Good morning lovelies!! Ok, exciting news! It’s not often that I get to take over another Instagram account for the day. Today, I am working the amazing #FABFITFUN account to share some of my favorite daily healthy and beauty routines.
So, what exactly is FABFITFUN? Think of Birchbox, except they send out boxes of FULL SIZE products every 3 months, and they’re focused on more than just beauty products. With a VIP membership, you get a new box for $49.99 enclosed with products tailored to each season. Check out their site, it’s the new “it” thing to do for all those fitness blogger girls too.

Today the @fabfitfun followers get to learn a little bit about me. It’s also the Bachelor finale. Double win for today. Who’s watching? Who will win over Farmer Chris?
FAB: Rise and shine. First? Coffee. Every morning I start my day with a cup of iced coffee. Which usually melts by the time I make it upstairs to finish my morning routine. Ha.
I also function better when my morning involves beautiful arrangement of flowers. The aromas are calming, and just looking at flowers makes me feel a bit more relaxed. Today’s tulip arrangement is from Always Flowers, a precious little place way north of town, but nonetheless, worth the call or drive. Ask for Sabrina, my girl!
Raise your hand if you enjoy healthy living. I certainly do! This includes eating the most important meal of the day: breakfast. This morning I started with hard-boiled eggs for protein, and I made a fabulous cleansing juice. See recipe below.
1 full handful of spinach
1 cup green grapes
1 red beet (rinse well)
1 mandarin orange
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp of chia seeds
1/2 cup of Breeze or Silk almond vanilla milk
4 oz water
Now off to the gym, where Brandon beats me up 5 times a week.
I never forget to put my hand cream on before jumping into bed. I’m pretty picky when it comes to these products. I like heavy creams that last all night and make my hands extra smooth in the morning. This one happened to be a treasure in my most recent #FFF box. It’s lighter, but still makes my hands feel smooth without drying them out later. To top it off, the smell is great.
It’s almost time for the Bachelor finale. Who are you rooting for? Ever wonder what happens to the second runner up when they don’t receive a rose? Well, I happen to know. I didn’t go directly home after that. I was allowed to stay in Thailand a little longer while the show was done filming. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I explored different coastal towns and canoed to an island where my producer and I ran into pirates. Yes, pirates are real. On the way back, we ended up stranded on a sand bar with two stray dogs because the tide had gone out.
So to get to shore, we abandoned ship by leaving our canoes on the island and swam back with our dryvac backs, which carried our phones. Of course, the current was very strong, and it was actually one of the scariest things I’ve been through. Imagine being 1.2 miles away from land (which feels a heck of a lot longer in the ocean) and having to swim against the current to safety.
When we finally made it, turns out our bags weren’t properly closed and our phones and the production phones were dead. As a last resort we were like, let’s just go to Bali! But that was turned down via email (we still had our computers on shore). Either way, my last Bachelor episode ended with some amazing memories, and made me feel happy that I even had the chance to do something like that.
Stay fun, stay fit, stay fab ya’ll!
