90210

Remember the show, 90210? As Colin and I were driving around Beverly Hills looking for a place to shoot, we spotted this Civic Center, and the only thing I could think of was that 90s hit show. Gosh, the 90s. Those were definitely the days. No bills, and all that really mattered was school and friends.

That was years ago, before the Bachelor…before having an edited life. I’m not complaining, after all the show helped grow my public audience. Without it, I wouldn’t have you all, and possibly not this blog. But it’s a strange reality sometimes, knowing that I’m just a regular person who got the lucky chance to make a national television appearance. And now the Bachelor family and fandom will always be a part of my DNA.

Sometimes I want to go back to fanny packs, tube tops, and washed out jean shorts, Kelly Kapowski style. Those were the glory days. But would I trade my iPhone in to go back in time 20 years? Hm. Probably not.
