So, who watched The Bachelor last night? Me, of course. Tuesdays are always fun for me and my girlfriends, because we love to analyze what happened on the show and pick our favorite contestants. What better way to have some girl time than an afternoon tea party?
Yes, please.
I grew up with Lipton teas in the house, so as an adult it’s the only tea I’ll buy. We’d always have some Lipton iced tea in the fridge, and when I was sick my mother would brew some chamomile tea with honey. I miss that. Tea is such a sentimental thing, isn’t it?
For my afternoon tea party I’m hosting today, I’ll be serving 3 of my favorite new Lipton flavors:
- Purple Acai Blueberry
- Amazingly Grey
- Apple Cinnamon
I think this offers a good variety flavors, and it will be easy to pair some sandwiches and fruity desserts to go along with them. Lipton’s new black and herbal varieties are exceptionally bold flavors, which I’m all about. When you have flavors like Enticing Chai and Orange Passionfruit Jasmine, it makes teatime a lot more exciting, don’t you think?
Guests are coming over soon. I can’t wait.
PS. You can check out the full line-up of Lipton Green, Black and Herbal tea flavors here for when YOU host your Monday Night Bachelor recap tea party. And let me know when you do, because I want to hear all about it!
