So, as I mentioned in one of my previous blog posts, I had the wonderful opportunity to try on some fabulous dresses at Casa de Novia in the River Oaks Shopping Center in Houston. For those of you who’ve never been to Texas, you’ve probably heard the phrase “Everything is big in Texas.” And that’s true, in a sense, because I can attest to the enormous shopping centers with stores and stylists you’d likely find on 5th Avenue.
Atrium Ready to Wear, a satellite company of de Novia, is also located in River Oaks. Not too long ago I did a photo shoot with Atrium, and got to try on their array of classy cocktail dresses and casual wear from fashion powerhouses such as Jason Wu and Prabal Gurung. These are the kinds of pieces you find in a Vogue spread; they’re fresh off the catwalk, and handpicked by the owner Luvi Wheelock herself. How cool is that?
The pieces at Atrium range from tailored professional attire to chunky knitwear to exotic evening dresses. It has the same intimate, boutique-y feel as de Novia, except without the wedding dresses. In that case, I think I know where I’ll be getting my next date night dress 😉

Hello. I have to admit you have great style. It appears your color selection always, always, compliments you. I realy dont know anything about you except that you were on a dateing program from what i read in the news. I dont watch much television as i live in california in a city thats ok but is geologicaly located in a great spot as im set center in traveling distance from the sierras, big sur, the state capitol, san francisco. Theres always something to do. I was able to watch a few minutes of the spinoff this summer but they didnt show much of you so i didnt watch after that. However every pic that i saw of you you always look spectacular. And im impressed that you dont ware a lot of make up. My opinion: biege, cream and red are your colors. Beautiful hair and an awesome smile. One thing i would love ask is why the tabloids seem to pick on you so much? I wish i had a sense of fashion as you do. Hope your doing well.
