Have you ever needed a quiet vacation? The kind of vacation without the hustle and bustle of plans and without tons of people around? Lucky me, I just had that. This trip we were in Ruidoso, New Mexico. While we did have a few plans but over all it was very calm.
The few plans we had were to see the horses at Ruidoso Downs. We had 4 horses in the race! Now there’s some excitement. If you didn’t get a chance to see my snapchat then you missed out. There was some winnings and some losing. Even the losing parts get built up and can get exciting as well.
There aren’t a ton of places to stay since it’s small town but lots and lots of activities. If you’re an outdoors person then this is the town for you. You can choose between hiking, horse back riding, zip lining and during the winter skiing. When I was a kid my family would take regular trips to Ruidoso, New Mexico. We were big RV campers. Mom would make dinner and I’d run around the camp grounds looking for the cutest boys. Oh the memories. This trip we stayed at Inn Of The Mountain Gods. If you like to gamble then Inn Of The Mountain Gods is a fun place to call home during your vacation. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from, a Starbucks and a view that will take your breath away. This is one of those places where you take a ton of photos and they simply do not do this place justice.
The next few days I’ll share my outfits, which there are plenty.
