This is it everyone, Finale night! All Bachelor fans were glued to their seats yesterday evening, including whatever family members who were also dragged into watching it (and then got addicted to the show). Either way, Chris had a very tough decision to make. (Alert: spoilers if you missed last night’s episode!).
Let’s talk Becca. She was a little more carefree and didn’t have a lot of responsibilities. She simply wasn’t ready to tie down somewhere and make a commitment. Chris really liked her, that was clear, but I think we all knew what was coming. I do love her honesty though. It’s great that she was being realistic about her situation. Probably more realistic than most people are on the show.
As for Whitney, she is genuine, smart, and has a career already in line. That’s marriage material right there. Chris’ mom seems to be very supportive of his decision. I loved seeing how comfortable everyone in Chris’ family was with Whitney. This is how is should be. Meeting someone’s family for the first time is extremely important.
I’m in love with Chris’ mom. She really believes in this process and the support is endearing. Not every family would be down with their son or daughter going on national television to find love. My parents were very supportive when I went on the show, and that meant the world to me. My dad is a man of few words, so I paid very close attention to how he would react. A father’s opinion means everything to a gal.
I’ll keep this short and sweet since I’m guessing you watched the show. Chris’ proposal to Whitney was certainly a beautiful one, even if it was in a barn. Pack your bags, Whit! You’re off to Iowa. Can’t wait to watch this couple grow, and I wish the best for them.

Do you happen to know what designer makes the shoes that Kaitlyn was wearing on Jimmy Kimmel with Britt when they were talking about how they are both going to be the next bachelorettes?
