We’re already at episode 3? Wow, time flies when you’re having fun analyzing the absurdities of the Bachelorette. This week we saw 3 men get sent home – Ali, Christian, and Nick. And we an anger blow up go down from this season’s wild card: Chad. I decided to dub Chad this season’s Donald Trump – he’s going to “make The Bachelorette great again.” At least he thinks so.
The one-on-one date with Chase was cute, nothing too special. I’m interested in learning more about this dude and what he’s all about. As for the group date, I quite enjoyed it. Seeing even more hunky men on the show who weren’t even in the running for to be the next Bachelor? That was a sweet surprise.
Speaking about meatheads…I’ve always wondered why a lot of us ladies tend to gravitate towards the jocks and the “manly” men. As if having muscles, a deep voice, and the tendency to pick a fight with anyone who walks the room makes for a man. These days, I seek out the compassionate, sensitive guys. And those are good qualities. Anyone guy who thinks that makes you less of a man is wrong. It shows that you are mature, self-aware, and probably not obsessed with yourself.
