One glorious benefit to being a blogger is the opportunity to travel. If you know anything about me, you know I love to travel. I should be carrying a sign around that says, “Will work for travel.”

Over the past few weeks I’ve been lucky enough to journey around Bali and Gili Air. Truth is, I don’t know where to start. While I will always be in search for zen and peace, I think the zen and peace I ended up finding is much different than expected.

It wasn’t about meditation. Which is how I thought I’d find my inner chakra balance. Yet, it was found in the people, the simplicity of life and beauty of the land.
The beginning of my journey was not only about catching up on sleep but was spent watching my first Bali sunsets. Something one can’t describe but can only feel by witnessing for themselves.

Over the next several posts I’ll be sharing my journey, interesting stories and the love I found within my own heart. I’ll even have my beautiful friend Brian Ames share a few hilarious experiences. He was there for a month and I joined him on the last leg of his Bali adventure. He’s hilarious. You’ll want to tune in for these posts.
