While I sit here looking for all the weekend sales for you, I can’t help but day dream about the weekend. There are so many great classic movies to watch over the holiday season. When it come to movies to watch I didn’t just choose holiday seasonal ones. I chose movies that are sure to be a crowd pleaser not matter what the age group. Pretty much this list is one we all should have. Since Dirty Dancing made the top of my list, wearing a sweater with “Baby” on it couldn’t have been more perfect.
When it comes to choosing what to watch it’s simple, I love a classic movie. Anything from the 1950’s and 1960’s I’m in! I could sit and watch the Retro channel all day…just ask Aaron. When we first started dating I would make him sit and watch old Elvis’ classic movies with me. He still married me so that was probably a was a good risk on my part and it seems like he may not mind. Every now and again I can get him to sit and watch something with me. Although I’d admit I try to not over due it. But when we have kids, they won’t stand a chance, ha!
I live to watch all the classic movies
Some classic movies simply can’t be forgotten. For those times when it seems as if nothing is on TV this list of my top weekend and holiday movies will surely comes in handy. This list of my top favorite movies to watch will also come in handy when you’re looking for something to stock up on this holiday season while the family is visiting.
The idea of this post came to me when I was in Chicago. The hotel had a great movie channel and I kept it on while I was there. I wish I could remember what station that was. Maybe I can call the Fairmont and see if they’ll tell me what channel that was. I’m a sucker for anything classic and old. Every time I’m in NY I have to have Frank Sinatra on too. Needless to say, this post is over due.
…and now my favorite classic movies to watch this holiday season

Pretty in Pink

It’s a Wonderful Life
Sound Of Music
