If you follow me then you have a little something in common with all my followers. You follow what you like and what is like minded or inspirational to you. With that said, last week I asked you what Podcasts you recommended. This is the short list. These were podcasts that were repeated by more than one of you. If you look, I categorized each one and share a little about what each one is about. All the guess work is done for you.
I just finished To Live and Die In LA! It’s so good. It gave me nightmares. So, if you’re sensitive like I am, this is your warning.
It’s crazy… I am just now learning about the phenomenon of true crimes. As I was putting this list together, I realized there’s a whole world out there on this stuff. I’m not sure how much my heart can handle.
Next on my list
The next one I want to check out is Confronting O.J. Simpson with Kim Goldman! Being that I Was alive during that drama (what I remember of it) I’m intrigued by this case. I have a strange thing that happen to me once with regards to this story.
My crazy connection to the OJ Simpson case
Many, many years ago I was visiting LA and the person I was with had a connection (or so they said they did) to the case. He said that he was there for Rob Kardashian as a life coach and confidant. He told me he knows what happened, detail by detail.
This friend of mine took me by Nicole’s house where it all happened. As we sat there he told me his version of the story. Not gonna lie, I was scared out of my mind. As he was telling his version of the story, I took a (tourist thing) photo of the location. When I pulled the camera back to look at the photo there was a rainbow on the sidewalk where Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman was murdered …going up to the sky! I can’t make this stuff up. Here’s my photo! You see how I’m on the opposite side of the road, because I was too scared to be on the other next to the sidewalk. I always told myself that I’d share this photo with Nicole’s sister one day. To me, this is a promise from God that He will never leave us and that He has a plan!
Maybe one day I’ll share the entire story this person told me…should I?

A new investigative true crime podcast from Black Mountain Media and Tenderfoot TV, Culpable explores unsettled cases where those deserving of blame have somehow eluded justice.
On February 26, 2014, Christian Andreacchio was found dead in the upstairs bathroom of his apartment from a single gunshot wound to the head. After a mere 45-minute investigation, local police ruled his death a suicide, despite substantial evidence that points to Christian’s death not only being a homicide, but premeditated murder. Host Dennis Cooper investigates and shares a compelling story about this suspicious death, the questions surrounding it, and a grieving family’s ongoing fight for justice.
From the creators of Up and Vanished and To Live and Die in LA, this is Culpable.

Music / True Crime
Disgraceland is a podcast about musicians getting away with murder and behaving very badly. Thirty-ish minute episodes that trace the most insane criminal stories surrounding our most interesting and infamous pop stars.
Disgraceland melds music history, true crime and transgressive fiction. Disgraceland is not journalism. Disgraceland is entertainment. Entertainment inspired by true events. However, certain scenes, characters and names are sometimes fictionalized for dramatic purposes.
Disgraceland is released on a bi-weekly schedule with a few exceptions.
Disgraceland is for lovers of true crime. Disgraceland is also for music lovers.
Did Jerry Lee Lewis get away with murdering his fifth wife?
How did Sid Vicious and Sam Cooke really die?
Were Tay-K 47’s 100 million downloads aided and abetted by a murder charge and a nationwide manhunt?
Disgraceland explores these stories and more and attempts to reckon the heinous acts committed by these musicians with our love for the amazing music they create, which is particularly relevant in the here and now.
However, Disgraceland doesn’t tell these stories in a stodgy, self righteous way. These stories are too wild for that. Disgraceland is a bi-weekly adult storytelling podcast. Not “sit around the campfire” storytelling. More like “slightly buzzed guy at the end of the bar whose seen some shit” storytelling.
Disgraceland is a labor of love. It began in a basement and graduated to a former massage parlor of ill repute, where it remains, fittingly.
