I hate dark circles under my eyes. Why, oh why must they exist?
I don’t know if it’s an age things, but I feel like they start in your teens and get worse as you get older. I mean, I’m only in my early thirties, so I’m taking precaution now to make sure my under-eye skin is healthy. Because it’s so delicate, it’s easy to irritate that part of your face.
I’m currently on my first month of using BelageSkin’s Under-Eye Brightener, a cream made of skin brighteners, peptides, and flavonoid antioxidants. I put it on before I go to bed so that I can wake up with noticeably less “sag” under my eyes. The cream is thick, but it’s not greasy. So you really only need a tiny drop, and it lasts a long time.
My skin doctor, Dr. Yalamanchili says the cream helps reduce the appearance of pigmentation (so getting rid of redness and evening out the tone), reduces fine lines, and improves skin softness.
Don’t rely on some of the knockoff things you find at the drugstore. I’ve found that more boutique-y type products are much more worth it. A little more expensive, but that’s because they are made with quality ingredients and aren’t produced on a mass scale.
