I really enjoy a classic Texas winter. Remember, to us, 47 is cold, but to the rest of the world, that’s probably a winter luxury. Having a mild December means I can cozy up in some warmer items without looking too bulky in layers.
If I could make my own utopian Texas, I’d add a dash of California beaches, palm trees, and a few rolling hills. Alas, that’s not the case, which is why traveling is so important to me. I would do anything to go to New York this season to see the tree and lights at Rockefeller Center. Since it looks like it won’t be happening this year, I will be satisfied with one last trip to LaLa Land.
Today’s outfit is perfect for that confusing, transitioning weather. Not too warm, but not too cold. This adorable mini sweater dress is warm and shows a bit of leg, since it’s honestly not that bad outside. I snatched this sweet leather jacket from Nordstrom, which I can throw on when the night temperature falls.
And last but not least, the crossbody bag. It’s an effortless look you can swing over your shoulder. This black leather crossbody is from Rebecca Minkoff, a purse goddess if you ask me.

I want to go to Texas so bad! My husband is currently on a 10 month deployment and I am hoping when he gets back in the summer we get to move to Texas. I love the side body bag and your outfit. You can pull anything off. I was your number one fan on, “bachelor in paradise”. You are so beautiful inside and out. 🙂
