You know the holidays have begun as soon as you spot your first red Starbucks cup. But all good things must come to an end, and today I’ll be sipping my last red cup, which is an official farewell to any kind of holiday remnants I’m still holding on to. The good news? I can still drink Starbucks whenever I want. So, yeah. That hasn’t changed.
Today’s look is a little bit snowbunny, and a lot bit cozy. Although Texas isn’t quite the ski destination, there are still a bunch of amazing places nearby worth the visit. A weekend trip to Colorado is totally accessible, and even New Mexico has some high altitude places to traverse the slopes. A fashionista’s main goal in the winter months? Look effortlessly stylish, and be the coziest person ever. This is something you can only get away with when it’s cold, when knits and layers are the norm.
Can someone give me a drumroll (please!) for this Windsor beanie? Now, I don’t think you’ve ever seen me wear a beanie on the blog before. Or even too many hats for that matter. I don’t think I’d consider myself a hat person. Nevertheless, I’m gushing over how cute this Windsor beanie is, and I’d wear this thing year-round if I could. Makes me feel like I belong in a ski hut for the day, coffee in hand.
A classic pair of Converse automatically says “Girl next door.” You’re the cool girl who maybe wants to try skateboarding, or the artist who’s going to draw all over the canvas part of the shoes. Growing up, I definitely had some tomboy spirit inside of me. My first pair of Converse shoes were in middle school, and to this day, they’re still one of the best casual sneakers out there. I wear them when I feel a bit of that teen angst inside me (hah).
