Tis the season for layering. This past weekend was the perfect time to start pulling out all those fall clothes…or go shop for it. That tends to be the way I lean. Sometimes we get to layer in Texas. There was one winter when it actually snowed in Houston. I would love for that to happen again.
Today’s outfit is one of my favorites. It can be worn so many different ways. Plaid is in. I can’t get enough of it. If you see me out and around town then you have probably seen me in plaid. The plaid section of my closet keeps growing.
I have been looking for several seasons for a green army jacket. Thanks to KB Kasuals, I finally got one. This one is perfect. I have a small frame and the fact that this jacket has the drawstring that tightens it around the waist makes it perfect.
And yes, you are seeing straight. I cut my hair. I have an appointment this Thursday to go a little shorter. I KNOW!! Shorter. I can’t wait. The color is staying for now. I love it and really actually like my natural color too. How many people can say that?

I go to college in Charleston, SC and plaid is a must have in every girl’s closet, so this really relates to me. I absolutely adore your style and this is one of my favs because it is something comfortable and stylish that I can wear to class during the week!

You look beautiful! I love this look…so perfect for fall! It’s funny you mention that you like your natural hair color. I’m a brunette, but I’ve been highlighting and coloring it for years. My stylist talked me into going back dark last fall and I absolutely love it. I only wish I had gone back sooner!
