Leather can be expensive and it is the first thing I think about in the Winter. I cannot get enough of it and I have found a bunch of goodies under $200! There are so many ways you can style it, which is what I love so much about it. Live, love, leather is my m.o. this cold season. Just add red nail polish and my outfit is complete.
Pairing a statement accessory with all black is one of my favorite looks. Skirts, shorts, pants, shirts, jackets… you name it.
Leather Pants and Skirts
Leather skirts and pants have always been such a style trend. You can rock them with a jacket too or just by themselves. They are such a statement piece and you can dress them up or down. I have linked some great vegan options as well! I love wearing a cute leather skirt for date night with Aaron and paring it with some sneakers or boots. It is amazing how versatile a leather piece can be. I have these amazing new shorts with lace detailing around the bottom and I am living for them. Once it gets colder in Houston, I will definitely be pairing my shorts and skirts with some tights! Love a fun pair of tights.
Leather tops & jackets
How cool is a leather shirt, y’all? You can wear it with jeans or even some cool velvet pants. It is a must in the colder months to have your staple jacket! As I mentioned earlier… just add red nail polish! A nice one piece with some jeans or black patten pants is SUCH a look. A trench coat is super cute too. I linked a vegan one for y’all… and its under $150!
Combat boots have always been a favorite of mine! They are a chic addition to some plain jeans or a mini skirt. Leather shoes are a great staple. I just got these sneakers from Stuart Weitzman and cannot live without them. One of my favorite details right now are pearls and they are full of them!
Leather wallets are such a good investment because you will have it forever. All the wallets I have ever bought are leather and they last a really long time. Even a small card holder is nice to have because when you are using a small evening bag you can just throw it in there without having to deal with emptying your wallet. I also really love a leather headband right now! Check out my hair accessories post for all the hair trends.
This is a good starting point if you do not own anything that is leather! There are so many good options under $200 that are perfectly on trend right now. It will be everywhere this season, as it is every year. Check out this post from Olivia’s page on how she styled leather during NYFW.7
