If you haven’t noticed, The Bachelor loves to choose contestants who represent that classic “Americana” vibe. At least they like to do this for whoever they choose the main Bachelor or Bachelorette to be. Usually someone with roots, with family values, and hopefully not too crazy!
Chris Soules was definitely an example of that. I mean, he was a farmer from Iowa! Homegrown and raised on the fields. You don’t get closer to ‘Merica than that.
Today I’m channeling that inner cowgirl/American feel with my outfit from Brooke and Arrow, a lovely online boutique I most recently connected with. See, I only work with boutiques who support the blogger lifestyle. Who believe that fashion bloggers are the next wave of fashion influence in our generation. And Brooke and Arrow gets that! They have a whole page dedicated to being an “Arrow,” or basically a supporter of their mission.
Brooke and Arrow is owned by Brooke Nix, a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader. Her online selections are a perfect mix of southern vintage charm and modern, city girl. You’ll find Native American prints, fringe, sparkles, and floral patterns.
Yep, that’s my favorite strappy cami I’m wearing underneath! When it comes to tanks like this one, you don’t want to feel like you have to hide underneath. So something functional that isn’t lingerie or just a plain bra is much better because it’s a piece of clothing meant to be seen.
Today, I’m proud to be “from the states,” as most European people would say, ha. I’m lucky enough to be born in raised in a place that let’s me choose my path, choose my belief system, and choose to be…me.
