My legend man is simple…it’s my dad. When I think of a legend I think of strong, secure, bonafide, integrity, courage, and loving. He’s a guy who’s humble, yet daring, easygoing, yet fearless. This is no doubt, my dad. It’s hard to put in to words how to describe him. He’s loved by all. He’s never met a stranger he wouldn’t help. I can say he’s truly a legend because he’s made his mark on so many lives.
As a gift for my dad, I recently purchased Montblanc’s new “Legend Spirit” cologne. He likes cologne, but this one was a little different. The woody aromatic fragrance is fresh and intense with hints of lavender, sandalwood, cedar, and cardamom. It’s not cheap smelling, like some scents out there. My dad Bruce has been a legend of a man from the time I was 3 when he came to my rescue. You’ve all seen The Bachelor episode where he spoke about my adoption and meeting me for the first time. There wasn’t a dry eye in America. He said he fell in love with me from the moment we met, and that he’d spend his entire life proving that. It’s been twenty-something years and every day he shows unconditional love towards me. His love encourages me to continually work hard and do what’s spiritually right. I would never want to let him down. He’s the father that knows just when to listen and when to talk. He knows how to encourage, how to remind you in the softest way, and how to make the right decisions on this path called life.
