NYFW 2017 has come to a close. What a week it’s been. I almost don’t know where to start. My week in the city that never sleeps has been just that. From early mornings that start at 7am to late nights that end technically in the morning. I can’t wait to show you all the outfits I’ve stocked up on. I owe a huge thanks to Ashley Streff for being my amazing photographer and partner in crime this NYFW. Now let’s get started with the RewardStyle Party at the Rivington.
Thursday
I arrived in NYC and decided to took it easy by walking around the city. I stopped off at a couple of my favorite spots for a cocktail and to relax, all before the chaos began. This is a routine I like to do when arriving into the city. That and I need to completely unpack, steam/iron all my clothes and get them laid out for the week. It’s a only way for me to stay organized…shocker there.
As I was walking around I reflected on last year and the growth I’ve had over the year. One moment that stands out to me the most was my photshoot last year during fashion week with Timur Emek. What a treat! I still pinch myself thinking that I was shot by one of the best blogger photographers out there. The other moment I look forward to each year is the RewardStyle party. It’s a chance to meet and greet with my manger and all the bloggers I love to follow. It’s also the best time for me to dress like a blogger. This year I’m wearing one of my latest found brands, Keepsake.
Friday
Ashley and I started NYFW 2017 by heading to the RewardStyle party at the Rivington Rooftop. There’s no better way to start off the week.

Hey AshLee! Love this blog post! Like you I’ve always loved fashion and have been buying fashion magazines since I was so young! Love to always see your outfits and how you put everything together!! Unfortunately I live in a small city in Canada 🇨🇦 where not many people care about fashion, so when I feel like I’m wearing something fashionable here I always get weird looks. But I don’t care, I’ll always love fashion!
Your Canadian fan,
Catherine
You’re so sweet. Be you and let that be your statement…but I can understand how you feel! The NYC style works in any city. At least as far as I’m concerned, lol.
Hey! Love your sense of fashion! Would love to enter the giveaway!!! Thank you! -Tessa G @Teggers05 (IG)
