Texas, where everything is bigger. Our land, our hearts and our heels. We feel closer to heaven here. I am a Texas girl at heart. But I’m also a wanderer, a soul-seeker, and a romantic. I need to go beyond the boundaries of the white picket fence. Heaven exists everywhere on earth, if you look closely. I’m on the fence though. Cali, or Texas?
My travels to LA have taught me a lot. Hollywood fame and Beverly Hills vanity can certainly engulf you, or any young girl looking to make it big in the city. I’ve been fortunate enough to have lasting connections in LA, from friendships to bloggers to business partnerships. Cali and Texas are truly both my homes.
On a warm Texas day, I love hanging out by the horse ranches and walking along the fields. Certainly nothing like LA, but that’s why I hold onto it dearly. I’m kind of obsessed with how this whole outfit came out, too. The off the shoulder polka top pairs perfectly with my Bauble Bar necklace. I needed something up there to tie the whole outfit together, and the bright opal color has amazing reflection in the sunlight.
Many of you have probably heard of Bauble Bar, and if you haven’t, you’re in for an enormous treat. If you have online shopping addiction problems (it’s a real thing), then Bauble Bar just may be your downfall. My suggestion? Add a bunch of items to your cart, then carefully narrow down exactly what you want. Because you’ll want a lot.
Things have been catching like wildfire over here in blogging land. Tons of giveaways, tons of new products and boutiques to share with you. I feel like LA might give me the opportunity to capitalize on the growing blogger-sphere world, because of all the tech companies out there. It’s just a very modern, avant-garde kind of place.
