I guess the best place to start talking about our baby shower is to say, “thank you” to all that helped put this incredible day together. Aaron and I could not have dreamed that it would be any other way. The details were over the top and so well executed. From the cake, to the flowers and all the way to the Eiffel towers throughout the party. And yes, that was our theme, French. BAAbywilliams is scheduled to come during NYFW, so needless to say travel (including lots of days in Paris) will be a part of her life.
We ended up having a co-ed shower so Aaron could be a part of the day too. Truthfully, it was more of a day party with great champagne. Speaking of, have I mentioned to you that Aaron decide to not drink while I’m pregnant? That’s my baby daddy! If that doesn’t tell you how into this he is, then I don’t know what will. He’s been the most amazing man through my pregnancy. I feel like I’m needing him more and more now though. It sure is nice to have a boost to get out of bed. The struggle is real. He even got certified as a birthing coach to help me through the day(s). Swooning! I could go on and on but I won’t bore you with all that lovey dove stuff.
bAAbywilliams, we can’t wait to meet you.
Another fun details that is not in the images below: edible flowers in the champs and ice cube! I’m telling you, my mother in law, sister in law and nieces brought my Pinterest to life.
Some of my favorite details? This is hard. I loved the cake, the tea bar, the flowers, the photo station and the fact that so many wore pink. This part wasn’t planned but such a sweet touch.
All in all, it was such a fun day and my energy stayed up the entire time. Go me! Of course I paid for it on Sunday and couldn’t do anything. Aaron and I stayed home and put up all the baby gift we got. That included our baby monitor. And is it weird that I keep looking at it and she bAAbywilliams isn’t here yet? Okay, that is probably weird but I can’t help myself.
Now to our baby shower photos
We had the shower at my in-laws. Which is also where we got married. We had 50 (on the dot) of our closest family and friends come celebrate baby girl. She’s going to be so loved. I can’t wait.
Close up of the flowers outside of the house. In pink in honor of bAAbywilliams
When you first walked in we had a tea and honey bar.
We had a wide variety of flavored teas to create your own flavor. Eiffel Tower place cards I had custom made.
Honey jars with custom tags + black and white boxes and pink boxes
We had everyone write a “late night doo-ty call” message on diapers. This was a huge hit. Everyone had fun coming up with something.
Adorable mommy and pregnancy friendly champagne by Drink Ready Pop. They also have these bottles with blue and purple labels. Nobody wants to feel left out! And truth is, it’s really good!
Adult Friendly Champs
Special ordered Macarons by Patisse. These taste just like the ones I’ve had in Paris or dare I say, better!

All flowers were custom by my mother in law’s designer. Her name is Kim Wilson and her company is Interior Design by Kim Wilson. If you want her information, email me. Our cake topper was edible but I found a similar one that isn’t here.
I took the above Eiffel Towers and used them in the nursery as her head band holders. The theme in her nursery is French/Paris. These towers came from Hobby Lobby. Found similar here and here .
What a special day!
Back drop was ordered through Etsy. Lace parasol linked also through Etsy. This custom baby parasol is custom through Etsy as well.
I almost want to bring Baby Williams home in this but also thinking for Christmas it might make more sense.
This insta onesies makes sense to me. The older folks at the shower didn’t quite get it.
Aaron, thanking everyone for coming. Jokingly said, ” he didn’t realize he had so many friends”. My friends are his friends now. He has the big family and I have the large group of friends, cutting up in the corner.
The crew that helped make out baby shower happen. Love them all!
Again this was the perfect day, spent with the people we love the most. I can’t wait for everyone to meet our bundle of joy!
