Lots of Q about the online boutique Shein. Answering those questions so that next time you shop there you’ll know what to expect. Shein has always been a fun place to hunt for an inexpensive trends. As a blogger it’s great because they have lots of stock and you’re sure to get what you want after someone shares their great findings. I compare them to forever 21. The difference is just that, Shein doesn’t sell out by one post! Good news for all of us.
A question I often get is, “Do you trust them?” My answer is, “yes.” I’ve both received gifted items from them, as well as purchased items. Both experiences have been good.
The only negative thing (and it’s actually not all that bad) is shipping does take a little while. Typically I get my orders in 7-14 days. So, if you’re looking to have something arrive over night then Shein probably isn’t the place to order from.
Another question I often get is about Shein product itself. For me the product is the same quality or better than companies like Forever 21 or Lush (Nordstrom brand) and Treasure & Bond (also from Nordstrom). Prices are about close to that price point. This brings me back to my earlier point, and that’s the fact there is a lot in stock so don’t feel like you have to rush to order. I say that, now watch one of my posts pieces sale out, haha!
The last point I want to make is about sizing.
Some things need to be tailored but to be truthful with you, I do that with a lot of my clothes. That may just be me though. So, you’ll have to judge for yourself when you shop. Often times others will buy the item and add their image to the page where you can see how it looks on. This is a really great feature I’ve somewhat rely on. For the times when there aren’t images I go xs or small. As in my bio, I am 5’3 and 106 lbs. Check out the blazer others have added to see exactly what I mean. Plenty of girls have purchased items then added images of them wearing it for you to see how it looks on. It’s a great concept and you’ll get a real look at some great finds.
Over all, I enjoy shopping with Shein. It’s a fun online boutique and for those that love a good deal…well this is OUR kind of store.

Okay, I’m going to tell you my mom’s experience with Shein. She ordered 2 tops. Very very cute. Neither had a size tag in them. One was about 2 sizes too small, the other fit except the sleeves felt as if they were sewed lower than the shoulder, if that makes since. Yes, it took about a month for delivery. She returned one top and donated the other. I would try them in the future because their stuff is adorable. But, give it time. Maybe her experience was out of the norm.
