A lot of you ask me questions about the online boutique Shein and today it’s Q/A time so the next time you shop online you’ll know what to expect. Shein has been a fun online shopping store for me. As a blogger it’s great because they have lots of stock. Unlike forever 21, Shein doesn’t sell out by one post! Actually this is good news for all of us.
A question I often get is, “Do you trust them?” My answer is, “yes.” I’ve both received gifted items from them, as well as purchased items. Both experiences have been good.
The only negative thing (and it’s actually not that bad) is shipping does take a little while. I typically get my orders in 7-14 days. So if you’re looking to have something arrive over night then Shein probably isn’t the place to order from. How about that honesty for a Q/A?
Another question I often get is about the product itself. For me the product is the same quality or better than companies like Forever 21 or Lush and Treasure & Bond (from Nordstrom). Prices are about the same as well. This also brings me back to my earlier point and that’s the fact there is a lot in stock so don’t feel like you have to rush to order. I say that, now watch one of my posts pieces sale out, haha!
The last point I want to make is about sizing. I have had to have some things tailored but to be truthful with you, I do that with a lot of my clothes. This may just be me. So, you’ll have to judge for yourself when you shop. Often times others will buy the item and add their image to the page where you can see how it looks on. This is a really great feature I’ve somewhat rely on. For the times when there aren’t images I go xs or small. As in my bio, I am 5’3 and 106 lbs. Check out the blazer others have added to see exactly what I mean. Plenty of girls have purchased items then added images of them wearing it for you to see how it looks on. It’s a great concept.
Over all, I enjoy shopping with Shein. It’s a fun online boutique and for those that love a good deal…well this is OUR kind of store.
