You might think that quilted fabrics belong at the foot of your bed, or casually thrown on to your couch. Think again. Remember how Chanel popularized the look with their iconic handbags and blazers? Chanel made quilting cool. And today, I’m here to bring you a modern quilted look by one of my favorites, KB Kasuals.
For those of you who need to know, yes, I have shorts underneath. Something form-fitting will do, so as not to add extra bulk beneath the tunic. I love this look because it’s sporty and sexy at the same time. Ever since my trainer Brandon started kicking my butt in the gym a while back, I’ve been amped up with a competitive, athletic spirit. I feel energized and adventurous.
The jewelry you see on my hands and wrists are from Bauble Bar, Kendra Scott, and Pura Vida. You’ve probably heard of Bauble Bar before, but maybe not Pura Vida bracelets.
The Pura Vida bracelets are colorful and great for layering. They’re made in Costa Rica, and have an ethically conscious business model I completely support. According to their website, they sell 234 charity based products, which provide full-time jobs to Costa Rican artisans. Take a look at their story. It will inspire you to do good in the world.
Bauble Bar is like ordering from a girly cocktail bar. Except it’s full of necklaces. And rings. And earrings. I’d take a bunch of accessories over a bunch of fruity drinks any day. Personally, I’m a tea and water with lemon kind of girl anyway.
Below is a close-up shot of the Pura Vida bracelets. So beautiful and playful looking.
