You may remember my collaboration with Scarlet & Gold, a wonderful print and design company. They make some beautiful, simple art prints and stationary with faith-based themes. They recently teamed up with Redeemed Girl Ministries to make these helpful scripture memory cards.
Each card has a new scripture, one for each day of the year. It’s a fantastic way to get your devotional in while meditating on God’s word. They’re also great for decorations too, whether you want to place one on your fridge, frame it for your wall, or tack it to your bulletin board to memorize.
What does “redeemed” mean to you? By definition, redeemed mean’s to pay for the faults of something or someone. So in a spiritual sense, redeemed refers to Christ’s love and his suffering for our sins. For me, it’s a combination of my faith, and it has a lot to do with second chances in life. We can make so many mistakes, over and over again, yet we always have the opportunity to redeem ourselves.
When we spend time memorizing something important, it’s not supposed to be a chore. It has a greater purpose. Sure, you probably remember having to memorize SAT words in school, but this is a little different. I believe that when we have positive words in our minds, it can literally transform how we think and act during the day, without us even really being aware. Imagine that.
So are you up for the challenge to memorize a scripture or two, and see how it might transform your day?
