With so many brands out there I wanted to narrow down some that fit my personal style and taste. Brands like, Motherhood for bras and basics that are fun and playful, Jessica Simpson is great for denim and A Pea In A Pod for dresses that have fun prints and aren’t a plain but have a little flair to them. I think you’ll like what I’ve picked out.
Look, just because I’m pregnant doesn’t mean I’m going to be boring dresser. This gal need stylish options and I think that’s just what we have, my friends.
Let’s get started on my shopping Macy’s for maternity wear looks
First up this black dress by Isabella Oliver. I can’t tell you how much I love this dress. It may be long sleeve but it’s light weight enough to wear outside of my freezing cold house. If you’re going to be pregnant this fall then that’s an extra bonus for you. It’s another perfect dress for shopping and running errands in.
A white tee which is a staple piece for everyone no matter if you’re pregnant or not. The fact that it’s under $15 is only an added bonus.
If there is one item I’d urge every pregnant mama to get then it would be these shorts. I’ve lived in then my entire pregnancy. they are perfect not only because they are black but they are extremely comfortable. I can’t express this enough. This IS the perfect pregnancy pair of shorts. The over the belly band is also black so you don’t see the contract if your top is a little short.
I’ve been wearing so much blue that you’d think I was having a boy but there are simply too many amazing blue dress dress out there…including this dress. Talking about a gem. This dress definitely grows with you. One of my best girlfriends, Teresa wore it to her baby shower and she looked so great in it.
Last but surely not least, Macy has plenty of options for maternity intimates. Motherhood carries my favorite bra and I have this one in every color available. It’s great for those that are a little more busty. It’s one of those bras that you hardly notice you have on. This seamless full-coverage bra is perfect for growing through pregnancy as well as for nursing. Worth the purchase, if you ask me.
