I’m seeing stars. Literally. The Hollywood Walk of Fame on Hollywood Boulevard is something you MUST see if you’re in LA. If you’re interested in stats, the street has over 2,500 stars in the sidewalk from all kinds of actors, musicians, and producers. You can’t help but feel famous standing in the midst of all these legendary people.
I took a bunch of snapshots while I was there, including my favorite Hollywood stars. I spent the whole day walking around in this cute mini dress by Elliatte, a brand I found on Revolve.
Oh Morgan Freeman, how I love you so. He’s definitely one of the most respected actors and producers and completely deserves his own star. What would we do without his soothing, narrating voice?!
Some of you might not know who Bob Hope is…but you should! Bob Hope is the epitome of old Hollywood. He made films with classic stars including Katherine Hepburn and Lucille Ball. That was probably 70 years ago. Dang, that’s a while ago. I remember watching old black and white films when I was younger just for fun because they were classics. Especially around Christmas time.
Christopher Reeve! Superman!
This is a funny story. My dad’s name is Bruce Lee, no joke. So naturally I came to know the Hollywood Bruce Lee and his martial arts movies. Whenever someone mentions Bruce Lee, I always do a double take because I first think of my dad, but then I realize that strangers obviously don’t know my dad’s name. It’s a silly little running joke in the family, but I love it.
Aww, quite possibly the cutest Walk of Fame signature. How cool is it that she wrote this back in 1935? I’m literally walking on decades of entertainment history. It’s all there, engraved below my feet. This is why I love LA so much. It’s so dynamic and it’s always hopping with excitement. At the same time it can take you back in history, and you can see how media and entertainment have progressed.
Yes! Last but not least, the iconic Marilyn Monroe signature. Love her or hate her, you have to admit she made waves and is internationally recognized. My feet are standing in her shoe imprints. We’re almost the same size feet! Unless of course I am wearing higher heels than she was.
Today I feel inspired and even more passionate about what I do. The blogging world has evolved so much in only a few years. I’ve met some incredible, influential blogger ladies who continue to motivate me to do what I love! I’m constantly meeting with other fashion bloggers to figure out new ideas and new ways to make fashion interesting, and more like a journey. Thank you all for following my journey.
