Watching tonight’s episode almost…almost made me lose sight of the show’s fashion. Let me go ahead and throw this out there, I can’t get enough of Ashley I’s cute little fashion sense. The all black exit outfit was by far my favorite of the evening. She looked beautiful and that pop of turquoise was radiant on her.
Speaking of turquoise, there was quite a bit of it tonight. I guess that’s fitting because this episode was country themed. Women in Texas love their turquoise. Then there was an abundance of plaid and jean. I’m a southern gal from Texas, so of course I ate it all up.
I am so curious to know what you thought of last night’s episode. It was interesting. We don’t typically see two girls go on one hometown date. As much as I love Ashley, we all must agree with Chris’ decision. She just isn’t a country gal. I see her moving to NYC and becoming the new and improved Carrie Bradshaw, which is great! Kelsey, on the other hand…needed to go. Part of me can’t help but feel badly for her. The reality is, you can’t get a real sense of people on this show. There’s SO much editing that goes on. The producers are trying to get the girls to mold into a TV character, not an actual human being. I personally noticed a lot of chopping happening. Producers feed one liners to these girls, then edit the phrases to say something different. Sorry, it’s so true.
Next, I wanted to review how poor little Brit got such a stink eye when she and Chris came back from their mini date. Yes, she could have said “No I won’t go,” but what purpose would that have served? Chris wanted to spend time with her and of course she wanted to spend time with him. Any of the other girls would have done the same thing. I felt there was a lot of jealousy there. With that said, I’d be jealous too. Brit’s connection with Chris actually makes me jealous. We all dream of sweet, loving connections like that. I’m gonna hold out until I get just that! Nothing wrong with waiting for the best.
I think my favorite out of all them is Carly and Whitney!!
I can see how they’ve edited it, but there’s still something off about Kelsey! Carly is adorable!!

I was not a fan of Ashley or Kelsey, I adore Whitney, Megan and Carly. I also think it was a bit rude to leave the women ion the group date to go to a country concert, I mean I know it was part of the surprise but then he should have said goodnight to the women and taken britt on her own instead of leaving them alone. This season has been a bit lacking in romance its predicable and the places he’s chosen aren’t that improve but hopefully as the season continues things will get better. My favorite date so far was his solo date with Whitney where they crashed the wedding.
