The West Coast leads the way when it comes to cold pressed juices. I swear, every corner I see a new juice or smoothie shop open up. People love healthy, naturally blended ingredients, so it’s no surprise.
Personally, I think Naked juices paved the way for our current obsession juicing. I know I was first introduce to the concept of blended juices thanks to the Naked brand. Mighty Mango and Blueberry Machine are my all-time favorite. Naked has been creating masterfully blended juices and smoothies for more than 30 years, so I totally trust that they know what they’re doing with each new flavor that comes out.
I’m super excited because the experts Naked are launching a new line of cold-pressed juices called Naked Pressed, available now at select stores. So, what does “cold pressed” mean? Some of you may be wondering. Simply put – it’s a better way to extract juice from fruits and vegetables because doesn’t generate heat in the process, which could damage the flavor and nutrients of the juice. Naked Cold Pressed Juice has NO added sugar, NO preservatives, and is verified by the NON GMO project. So you can bet that it tastes like pure goodness.
I’ve already happily tried 3 new flavors: Bright Greens, Cool Pineapple, and Bold Beet, which contains juice from the following:
Bright Greens: apple, cucumber, celery, lettuce, lemon, kale, spinach, wheatgrass
Cool Pineapple:pineapple, cucumber and lemon with a touch of filtered water
Bold Beet: beet, carrot, cucumber, apple, lemon, orange and ginger
I have been drinking the juices after my morning workouts. It’s better than coffee on so many levels. The refreshing taste wakes you up, replenishes the nutrients in your system, and totally hydrates. It’s a perfect way to stay healthy, get that morning boost, and keep you on track for the day.
My favorite would have to be Bold Beet, because the flavor is unexpected and kind of exotic. Ginger always adds a kick, and it has amazing health benefits that aid with digestion and inflammation in the body. So it’s absolutely helpful after a tough workout when my muscles are sore and in need of some nutritious benefits.
