Apparently I’ve been living under a rock (a beauty rock). Typically I don’t wear a lot of makeup. So, that’s my excuse. The Sephora spring sale event is upon us and maybe because I’ve never shopped it…I went a little crazy.
It’s super easy to shop it. All you have to do is put in SPRINGSAVE in the discount section when you’re checking out. There you’ll see your savings. The sale for VIB members (which means you’ve spent $350 and get 15% off) starts today, 4/21/20. If you haven’t then that’s okay too. The Insider member (which means you’ve spent $0-$349) sale starts on 4/23/20. If you’re an Insider you will get 10% off your purchase.
About my skin
A little about my skin to help you relate or take notes on how I shop for products. I have V sensitive skin. Mostly with face washes. This isn’t something I can play with too much. I’ve been using Skinceutical products and for now, think I will stick to that. Especially since I am trying so much new beauty stuff from this Sephora sale.
4. Easy Bake Loose Baking & Setting Powder 5. Monsieur Big Mascara & CILS BOOSTER XL set 6. Highlighting Duo Pencil 7. Heavenly Skin Bye Bye Pores Powder Brush #701
Let me add this note: It will probably take me some time to go through all these items and share my ultimate results. I like to try one new item at a time to make sure it doesn’t affect and breakout my skin. Eye shadows and lipsticks don’t really fall under that category but anything that goes on my cheeks and under my eyes…that’s where I have to be careful!
Which is EXACTLY why I want to start a YouTube show (that’s what I’m going to call it). I want to be able to share my results with you and host it all in one place. IG stories cut me off and saving in my highlights can still be a little chaotic.
Speaking of YouTube, I’ve been watching so many beauty tutorials. Basically that’s where my purchase inspiration has come from. I found a few girls that use these items in their everyday routine. Seems legit…I’ll let you know how it all works on my skin.
8. Glow Drops 9. Self-Tanning Water
What I’m most excited about getting
The #1 item I am most excited to try is the Dr Barbara Sturm Glow drops. Of course it’s the most expensive on the list but the reviews and ratings are amazing. Hailey Beiber uses it. I follow Dr. Sturm on IG and she’s the real deal. She knows so much. I’m dying to try her entire line!
Keeping in mind that I’m currently pregnant, I looked for the CLEAN at Sephora logo on products and went with more of those items this round. Makes me feel better about this journey I’m attempting in the beauty realm. This Fabel and Main conditioner and Isle of Paradise tanner both have that rating. I’m super pumped to try these as well as the other “clean” items. You can see the log next to each item that has this rating.
As for what I’ve been using lately, I promise to share all those items bc those are my true ride and dies!
Hope you start that YouTube channel ASAP! Canβt wait to watch π
Love seeing what you got and how it worked for you! Thanks for sharing! Can’t wait for you to launch a YouTube channel, you would be amazing at it & it would be a hit π€π€π€
