When It Rains

Planning mine and Aaron’s wedding is bringing out the colorful side of me. Don’t get me wrong, my wedding is going to be white and gold. What I mean is that it’s making me happy to be ushering into this time of my life. All of a sudden I’ve been wearing more colorful prints and patterns. Can’t you tell by my jacket today? Even with the ugly rain this past week and barreling down on us into the week it’s not putting a damper on my mood. Funny enough, I just ordered this Helly Henson, polka dot raincoat hoody ($69.99) from Sierra Trading Post two weeks ago. I don’t have a proper rain coat and since Aaron and I are thinking of going to Italy for our honeymoon I figured I would go ahead and order one to take with me. It needs to be dark and I simply couldn’t resist the pink polka dots. 

Speaking of trips. As I mentioned last week, Aaron and I have decided to go light on Christmas gifts for one another. We agreed to find gifts that fit into one stocking for one another. While I was on Sierra Trading Post I found some other great Christmas stocking stuffers. Aaron is a big snowboarding junkie I decided to get us matching beanies (both under $10). Also ordered A some new socks. I can guarantee he hasn’t bought new snow socks in a while. With prices as good as they are I could have bought a ton more gifts. They even have things for pets. I’m going to have to order something for my Bailey Boy for Christmas. 

I’m not sure if you’ve ever shopped Sierra Trading Post but I highly recommend checking them out. They are a major off-price retailer of brand name outdoor gear, family apparel and footwear, sporting goods and home fashions. If you are on a budget like myself, then you’re in great company. I’m going to do my very best to help everyone stay inside the budget this season. I got everything mentioned in todays post for under $200.
